Clarity in mission brings an official structural change

has emerged from its chrysalis as:

Reclaim Arts, LLC!
The Logo
The colors, muted peach and brown with teal, give a nod to HairStory: Reclaiming Our Crown's logo, while presenting a peaceful and contented figure with artsy flare. This Reclaim brings calm and healing with her words, while remaining friendly, open, and reliable. She still has a minimalist and feminist vibe without the angry pink of the mid 2010s. Although there is much still to fight for, her sword is her art and strong spirit. I'm really feeling this design! Can you tell?
The catch phrase
As always, "Your story matters." The choreopoems I write are fueled by your stories. At the same time, I need to let people know at a glance what I do:
Plays - really, the writing and production of choreopoems, or plays written in poetic form.
Programs - teaching my historiographic poetics to youth and community groups wanting to grow in knowledge of social justice issues and historic moments, as well as in their own communication skills. I plan to continue with the American Griot Project Programming that I conducted last year with Janet Bixler at Capital Area School for the Arts.
Publications - Through my blog posts, individual poems, poetry collections, scripts, and coming soon, novels in verse, I will continue to raise consciousnes about the "full poetry of existance" or in other words "Beloved Community."
I have a dynamic team of creative professionals ready to hit the road with HairStory, our first traveling production, for school or regional theatre that is ready to to see this transformative work on their stage. We're ready to work with you on finding funding for this 13 actor cast production.
Contact us as you consider your programming for the Fall semester. CEO@ReclaimArts.com.
