This year Reclaim Arts LLC will honor the ancestors with a series of literary events taught by yours truly - Maria James-Thiaw. These events will teach a little history while helping participants learn new ways of crafting literary masterpieces. A fun and relaxing time is promised to all.
I'm excited to have found the Crystal Cove Collective, a beautiful store in Lower Allen Township filled with treasures! Amethyste, quarts, amber, and all of the beautifully colored pendulums, carvings, jewelry, and more. What a great place to create!

Our workshops are on Feb 10th and 17th. They're $30 each, but I'd be willing to offer a discount to someone who wants to do both. Refreshments will be served as well, so get your tickets early! https://www.eventbrite.com/e/822586266667?aff=oddtdtcreator

You will also find me at Hope Station in Carlisle, PA at their black history month celebration on February 24th. I'll be hosting a book tasting with Roe Braddy and Winde Oche again. A book tasting is where we bring wine/cider and snacks and let you linger and soak in some poetry before moving on. We will have readings and our books will be available too.
You'll see me on the Life Esteem Show this month with Nate and Pat Gadsden, and I'll be backstage with the writing team of the Black News Beat too. I'll be busy interviewing griots when I'm not out and about. I also plan to do some reading on our Youtube channel to keep the kids informed and entertained.

But one of the most exciting things is I learned how to do live screenings on our website! So this month on February 21, we will stream HairStory digital right here at ReclaimArts.com! Show starts at 7, so get your popcorn ready!
I hope to see you at one of these upcoming events. I appreciate your support.
